The beginning of the Louisville Salt Cave
Nicole Bartlett founded the Louisville Salt Cave in 2015, driven by her belief in the power of natural therapies to enhance well-being. With a decade of experience in biotechnology, managing global brands focused on immunity through nutrition, Nicole’s passion for preventative health grew, leading her to open Louisville’s first salt cave. The Cave quickly became a sanctuary for those seeking mental clarity, physical rejuvenation, and spiritual growth.
As a certified Breathwork Practitioner, Reiki Master, and devoted meditator, Nicole created a space where the benefits of salt therapy could be experienced alongside holistic wellness practices. She worked to educate the community on the potential of salt therapy for alleviating respiratory issues, reducing stress, and finding mental balance.
In 2024, after nearly a decade of dedication, Nicole made the decision to sell the Louisville Salt Cave to new ownership. This transition allowed her to focus on her other passions and expand her holistic wellness journey. Nicole remains deeply committed to helping others reconnect with themselves, physically and mentally, through natural therapies and practices. Her legacy lives on as the Salt Cave continues to serve the community, while she forges new paths in supporting wellness and self-care in meaningful, transformative ways.
Continuing to support the community
